New website switch over
We’re pleased to confirm that the new site will be switching from beta.tentown.co.uk to www.tentown.co.uk on Thursday 1st April.
This is not an April Fool! It was the best day to switch over the new site, as it will cause minimal disruption to schools. It will also allow those using the new site for the first time to familiarise themselves before the summer term starts.
You may experience some loss of service on Thursday. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and we will try and keep this to a minimum.
PARENTS WITH HOME LOGIN DETAILS
From Thursday, you can continue to log in with the same details as before by going to www.tentown.co.uk
However, it’s fine if you type in beta.tentown.co.uk as you’ll be redirected to the correct page.
SCHOOLS WITH ACCESS TO BETA SITE
From Thursday, you can continue to log in with the same details as before by going to www.tentown.co.uk.
Your login details will stay exactly the same as they were on the beta site. All your class and pupil data will also remain unchanged.
However, it’s fine if you type in beta.tentown.co.uk as you’ll be redirected to the correct page.
We realise some teachers have been using the beta site for their pupils’ home access but have continued with the old site in school. This YouTube video will help if you need assistance getting started on the new site in school:
We will continue to run the old site until the end of the summer term – but from Thursday, this will be available at old.tentown.co.uk.
However, we would encourage you to familiarise yourself with the new site during the summer term, so we can answer any queries you have before the new school year.
We appreciate that it can be difficult getting used to a new website, but we are always here to help.
